Yard Waste Disposal Site

The drop-off site is for disposal of yard clippings, leaves & tree branches.  Dumpster containers are located on Railroad Street south of the High School.  This program will be offered the first Saturday in April through the Saturday after Thanksgiving, weather permitting.  The hours of the site are Saturdays 9am - 4pm and Tuesdays & Thursdays 4pm - 8pm until Sept 15th when the site will then close at dusk.  This is a free service for City of Hartford (in city limits) residents only.  This is not a site for garbage.  People not complying with the rules of the drop-off site are subject to a $200 fine.  The site is monitored.
