Fence Permit

To obtain a Fence Permit

1. Fill out the permit

2. Submit a map showing the following things to codes@hartfordsd.us

• Property Lines
• Location of house and any other buildings on the property
• Exact placement of the fence showing distance  from all property lines
• Location of any abbutting street or alley        

3. Pay the $ 25 fee Click Here 

4. If the Fence will be attached to or on property line the Fence Permit Consent Agreement will need to be submitted also
